RE: [mdt.dev] Termination Review for MDT OCL Tools

Title: Message
Hi

Revision of the QVT Declarative (formerly GMT/UMLX) QVTc and QVTr editors to exploit IMP has
provided almost all of the OCL editor functionality mentioned in the OCL Tools wiki. Since QVT
extends EssentialOCL, the editing support for OCL is required by QVT (Declarative) editors.

So, pending resolution of bug 196973, ...ocl.edit and ...ocl.ecore.edit plugins are provided by
QVT Declarative. Providing the full OCL editor within QVT Declarative is not really within the project
scope, but requires minimal effort.

I suggest that the OCL (file) editor be provided within QVT Declarative until the editor and MDT OCL
are ready to accept a transfer.

    Regards

Subject: [mdt.dev] Termination Review for MDT OCL Tools

I would like to request a Termination Review for the OCL Tools component of the MDT sub-project. There has never been activity in CVS by the committers on this component (see http://dash.eclipse.org/dash/commits/web-app/active-committers.cgi?project=modeling.mdt). The CQ for the initial code contribution (http://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1848) has been withdrawn and all indications (e.g. http://www.eclipse.org/newsportal/article.php?id=202&group=eclipse.modeling.mdt#202) suggest that the component lead has decided not to move forward with this contribution.

Please advise as to how to proceed.

Thanks,
