You mean in a general manner, right? Nothing specifically related to Papyrus M6?
From the Papyrus point of view, on contrary, it is highly recommended to migrate to M6 (that is, when it is available), as the improvements in
term of stability are highly noticeable (Unless I’ve missed some really recent regression..).
Moreover, we’re still using SVN for Papyrus, so most Papyrus developers do not rely on EGit too much.

FWIW after a frustrating couiple of hours reporting bugs I've decided to revert to M5a.
On no account use EGIT 2.4 from nightly, it can't commit and has file deletion issues.
