Re: [m2t-dev] Mofscript updates

Hi

Unfortunately http://archive.eclipse.org/archived_projects/mofscript.tgz is an invalid archive

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=544508

Unfortunately https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/mofscript-model-transformation-tool

appears to predate the archiving and so directs to a non-existent download. It doesn't install on 2018-12 at all since the maintainer
has not yet added that as an optimistically supported target.

Google finds no source code.

Your best bet is to persuade the maintainer to put his development copy up as a GitHub project and allow you to be a maintainer.

I am afraid that at Eclipse "archive" is a euphemism for "delete". It may be time to recognize that MOFScript is dead. It was
one of the influences behind OMG's MOFM2T which is implemented by Acceleo. Again unfortunately Acceleo appears to be

Today, at Eclipse, I would have to recommend that you use the string template capability of Xtend. Or you could exploit
the ability for an M2M such as QVTo to do M2T.

Hello,

I am a happy user of Mofscript for model to text as well as model to model transformations.

Since the install link on Eclipse Marketplace is not operational, I am wandering how to get the latest updates. To the best of my knowledge source code is not available to users.

Please advise.

Thanks and regards

Milan
