You should read and understand the message you're getting - you 
might have posted the exact message, also.  It might state you have 
other components installed which depend on older (or just different) 
version of m2e you're trying to install.  For troubleshooting you 
might try to install m2e into a new Eclipse installation, with no 
extra plugins/features added.
