I think you might need to generated an aggregated index for your
group repository.
The lower panel of Nexus repository browser view should show two
tabs whenever you are browsing a repository with Maven2 layout:
"Browse storage" and "Browse index".
Please check if you can see "Browse index" tab in your group
repository and if it shows all the artifacts that you expect it to
have. If not, you might have to use "Repair index" option from
repository's context menu (you must be logged in as the
administrator of course).

Hi,
now, I know why it didn't work. The repository I was trying to
connect to m2e is a group repository. But I handled it as a hosted
repository. Now, I am able to connect to the hosted repositories.
But it would be much better to mirror the group repository which
contains the hosted repositories. This does not work. I get the
following output from the maven console again:
10.01.12 16:49:03
MEZ: [INFO] Updating index for repository: test|http://build-test:8080/nexus/content/groups/public/

Hello,
I use m2e from

I have set up a Maven Repository and Nexus. It
is possible to access the
repository via http.
My colleague seems to have the same
configuration and everything works
fine.
Unfortunately, on my PC I cannot acces the
repository via m2e. I get
the following messages in maven console:
