Re: [m2e-users] Where are "extra" POM views

They were removed for m2e 1.0

This has been mentioned in the past, but there is API for adding pages to
the pom viewer. So if someone was inclined the pages could be resurrected
as an add-on.

In old versions of m2e, it was possible to select something that showed
various enhanced views of the project such as the graphical view of
dependencies and several other things.

Now that I am using version 1.0.100.20110804-1717, I no longer see a way to
invoke this functionality. What am I missing?

I just want to say that the Graphical Dependencies tab was quite useful to me over the year or two that I used it.

I know the developers have a lot on their plates, but it's not true that these were not "actually used" as someone said in regard to this.

I say this even though I realize I'm not volunteering for anything. I would consider volunteering but there's more here than just hooking something back up, and even that may be more than I have time for.

I'd just like to record my preference that this be taken up, somehow. Perhaps a review would be in order as to which of the advanced views were used, and considered helpful, because I'm pretty sure the results would differ tab by tab. Perhaps if a more surgical approach toward jettisoning the truly less used ones were taken instead of chopping them all off, we might get to a better result.
