Re: [m2e-users] Dynamic Web Module facet not added

Just to clarify, we had to remove m2e-wtp integration from m2e
marketplace not because of an m2e bug, but because of specifics of
m2e-wtp implementation. This forced installation of m2e-wtp and wtp for
virtually all m2e users, even if they did not use any JEE functionality.
You can read [1] for more information. Also note that we removed
some other m2e extensions from the marketplace catalog to "make room"
for m2e, but unfortunately that was not enough to keep m2e-wtp available.

When I used m2eclipse-wtp, the Dynamic Web Module facet was added
to the eclipse project when enabling dependency management. This
seems not to be the case for the m2e version shipped with indigo.
Or am I doing something wrong?

This seriously reduce my benefits of the maven integration since
this is mostly what I use it for.

m2ewtp was not included in indigo but we are working hard on making
it viable and even better :)

It should automatically be added to your eclipse when you import
projects that needs it but because of a bug m2e have been removed
from the m2e marketplace but it should return shortly.

Thus for now you can go and install it manually /max
