Re: [m2e-users] WTP On Eclipse Market

The reason I see is the same as placing M2Eclipse Core in the market place: installation convenience. It's much more simpler installing it from Marketplace than going to m2eclipse site, search of the Eclipse Update Site and use it. Also its inconsistent with the way you install M2Eclipse.

In today's world, where most applications tend to be Web Applications, I can't see a way for a developer to use Maven together with Eclipse without M2Eclipse WTP plugin. It's a deal breaker.

I can't see any reason why. However great care will have to be put in listing the necessary repos for the dependencies so the installation can be successful.
