Re: [lyo-dev] Proposal for OSLC4J 2.1.3

Sounds good to me.

I have a fix to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=430390 but would need the weekend to make it happen.

So, would vote for a revote if we want to release in coming days. Otherwise, I will try to squeeze it in asap.

regards

Subject: [lyo-dev] Proposal for OSLC4J 2.1.3

The recent eclipse/Lyo release 2.1.2 and origin/master HEAD are a bit out of sync. I propose we do another quick release 2.1.3 that aligns/merges 2.1.2 and origin/master while addressing some additional, simple defects. This would also be a good chance for me to go through the whole release process with Andrew to practice once more the eclipse release process on a somewhat simple release.

I propose that we:

1. rename the origin/master HEAD version to 2.1.3-SNAPSHOT

2. 3. cherry-pick the new commits in 2.1.2 into master.

In the client:
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/92274/
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/92287/
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/92402/
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/92292/

In the core:
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/92198/
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/93247/
* https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/92281/

New bugs:
Revert or fix: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=430390

This will align master and the OSLC4J release, provide a consistent OSLC4J version to use in building and testing the other projects in eclipse/Lyo (tests, RIOs, samples, etc.) and provide a better starting point for the debt reduction and possible refactoring planned for 2.2.0. It will also address a couple of new issues.
