Hi all,
I have by now checked with other people at my company, and will be able to move our product based on LSP4E to Java 17 on 2023, but not before.
Therefore my preference is to start requiring Java 17 in 2023 (can be already in January). If that is too long to wait,
I would still like to ask for an LSP4E release using LSP4J 0.15 before moving to Java 17.
Kind Regards

Subject: RE: [lsp4e-dev] Move to Java 17 ?
Hi all,
I would like to ask for an LSP4E release using LSP4J 0.15 before moving to Java 17. The release could be done or any time according to SimRel-2022-09,
that is not that far away 😉.
The reason for the release is that I will not be able to upgrade to Xtext 2.28 (which requires LSP4J 0.15) if I need to update to Java 17 due to LSP4E
at the same time. I understand that the world is moving and I do not want to hold the project if the project thinks it is the right move now, but having a bit more time would be of great help for us.
