Re: [linuxtools-dev] N&N for 2.1

Discussing this further with Andrew O., it seems that waiting until RC2 to create the
branch and preventing patches to master doesn't make sense.  I have just created
a stable-2.1 branch upstream so now fixes for 2.1 must go there as well as master.

I will update the wiki to move the branch step up to 3 weeks before RC4 or release
date.

No, unfortunately, you cannot put in non-committer fixes in master until I cut a 2.1 branch which by the Releng wiki is 2 weeks before RC4
(i.e early next week).

I understand master is still open to non-comitters contributions, i.e., 
any 2.1 fixes must go to stable-2.0 branch.
