Hey guys,
I’m on vacation (and it is my daughter’s birthday) the next pykiso meeting but we need to talk about
release 1.0 and the future of pykiso.
Can we re-schedule our meeting the 05.06? I also would invite. It should be a committer meeting only (the one that are part of this list).
Agenda:
- Release 1.0 (left action-items)
- Grooming on pykiso “future”
I am aware of the unfortunate decision by eBike to drop the development of Pykiso. However, I remain full of hope and see great opportunities for us moving forward.
For the past years, we focused on what Bosch and eBike wanted, but we failed to create traction outside of eBike. We partially achieved our goals with black-box integration tests
but fell short on gray and white-box testing, where the real value creation should be.
I still do not see any other project out there that does what we
want
to achieve, and this can be our entry point into other communities.
Over the past weeks, I have been working with Pykiso, and we have built something truly wonderful. The changes needed to continue its evolution are straightforward, and I believe
we can achieve them.
I am excited to
groom
with
your ideas and
define how we continue to work together on pykiso
😊
Best Regards /
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
