[jwt-dev] WG: Reminder - IP Submission Deadline -January 31, 2009

Hi there,
I would like to draw your attention to Janet Campbells
question about components that shall be included in Galileo and that need a CQ:
anything like that needs to be announced before January 31st in IPzilla,
otherwise it won't be integrated in Galileo!
At the moment I can only think of one thing: the
transformation of JWT to STP-IM which has not been developed by committers
alone, but of some students of mine, too and therefore probably needs a CQ. Can
you think of any other plugins that are maybe not yet in Bugzilla, but only on
your companies SVN (Bull, OpenWide?), but should be part of one of our releases
in the next half year? Probably there are some more things where either people
had been involved that are not committers or where some third-party license is
used (mustn't be GPL! others need to be discussed in the
CQ).

Hi All,
We haven't seen much Galileo related
activity yet and so a quick reminder - before January 31, 2009,
please:
- enter a
contribution questionnaire for all third party packages that you wish to
include in your release and include a note
letting us know that you would like to include the code in Galileo;
and
- enter a comment on
any existing CQ/ IPZilla
bug
that you need for the simultaneous release indicating that the package is
needed for Galileo.
We will annotate all the relevant CQs/ IPBugs with the keyword
"Galileo" and use that list to plan our reviews for the next six months.
As our current backlog is high, the creation of this list is critical for
planning purposes. Packages submitted by participating projects prior to
the January 31, 2009 deadline will be given priority over
all other submissions during scheduling.
