Eclipse JNoSQL 1.1.0 is now available. This release introduces significant improvements, new features, and upgraded drivers designed to enhance NoSQL and NewSQL project performance.
- Significant Performance Enhancements: The engine has been optimized for substantial performance gains, ensuring faster and more efficient operations, mainly at the Jakarta Data implementation.
- New JDBC Driver: A new driver leverages JDBC to enable Jakarta Data compatibility. This addition allows the use of NoSQL and NewSQL databases through JDBC as the communication layer. Upon passing the Technology Compatibility Kit (TCK) for relational databases, Jakarta Persistence will also be supported, establishing Eclipse JNoSQL as the first Jakarta Data implementation agnostic to the Jakarta Persistence provider.
Super thanks to Ondro and many contributors from OmniFish.
- Extended Jakarta Data Support: We’ve included the new capabilities on Jakarta Data, including contains, endsWith, and startsWith. Not all databases will support this capability.
- To keep the ecosystem safer and faster, there are updates to the NoSQL drivers as well:
