Thread-topic: Help with Bug 535814 : HTTP Authentication for LFS

Hello All, new to the forum so please forgive me if I’m out of bounds here. I’m a product manager working on a project that just integrated JGit into its codebase.

It’s essential that we support HTTPS authentication to a remote Git host (e.g. GitHub, BitBucket, etc.) and LFS. This leads us straight into the bug listed below. If my dev team does not have the expertise to contribute to the code base, is there a possibility of contracting someone from the community to prioritize this bug to get things remedied?
