I have uncounted this issue running /usr/bin/jgit fetch

Can you tell me exactly what this error means and how can I fix this?

did you try to increase the timeout (option --timeout allows to specify timeout in sec) ?

jgit fetch --timeout 600

you may also add -v to get more details
