Re: [jetty-users] Does jetty support SNI?

Yes, it is supported out of the box in Java 8 (via JEP 114).
Sean Mullan had a talk about this and the other new security features in Java 8 two days ago at JavaOne.
Looks pretty simple to use.

Support is coming in Java 8, isn't it?

I don't need it right away. I expect to eventually need it... it's not a big deal right now.

not yet.    We have looked at it and our architecture in Jetty-9 should be able to handle it reasonably well, but the main issue is the support for TLS extensions is not yet in the JVMs.

We could do a similar approach to what we have done for NPN/SPDY, but have not yet done so.

If this is something that you'd like sooner rather than later, then please contact us and we can discuss the possibility of accelerating support for it.
