[jetty-users] HttpClient: what is "IllegalStateException: SENDING => HEADERS" error

can somebody rephrase into English what does mean this exception
thrown by HttpClient?

java.lang.IllegalStateException: SENDING => HEADERS
	at org.eclipse.jetty.client.HttpExchange.setStatus(
	at org.eclipse.jetty.client.AbstractHttpConnection$Handler.startResponse(
	at org.eclipse.jetty.http.HttpParser.parseNext(
	at org.eclipse.jetty.http.HttpParser.parseAvailable(
	at org.eclipse.jetty.client.AsyncHttpConnection.handle(
	at org.eclipse.jetty.util.thread.QueuedThreadPool.runJob(
	at org.eclipse.jetty.util.thread.QueuedThreadPool$

Such message is very cryptic. It saying simply nothing and, moreover,
HttpClient is de facto without javadoc. But tcpdump is showing that
server is responding with normal HTTP 200 response.
