Re: [jdt-ui-dev] Tidy up old bugs

Hi Markus

Your help with bug triage is welcome!

If the steps in a bug are clear and we cannot reproduce it with the latest milestone build, currently 4.6 M6 from http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/, we close the bug as WORKSFORME and indicate the build we used to try to reproduce the problem.

If the steps are not clear, we ask for more details and add the 'needinfo' keyword. I then usually close bugs with no responses after two weeks.

Depending on your bugzilla rights you might not be allowed to close bugs. Let me know if that's the case.

Dani

Hi again,

I was browsing through the jdt.ui bugs and found some, that I think are fixed in the meantime.
(e.g. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=36299or https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=30156).
I’d like to tidy up if this is welcome, but I am a little bit unsure if I’m allowed to.

What’s the policy with these issues?
Add a comment - close the bug - contact the assigned member, even if he has no valid CLA anymore?

Would be nice if you could give me some hints.
Thanks
