Thanks for the clarification Alex. I was investigating why this Bug 543286 - Version issues in build I20190108-1800 issue was not caught by gerrit. And I found that the compare-with-baselines task was not enabled on jdt core. That’s why I asked for the jdt teams help in the configuration

IIRC, this was not enabled in jdt.core because there are two org.eclipse.jdt.annotation bundles and the check was failing or always reporting issue.

Hi,

We have a maven task to check for version increments. This is not enabled on jdt.core gerrit build job(I cannot confirm on other jdt jobs as I don’t have access). This caused Bug 543286- Version issues in build I20190108-1800
Need help from jdt committers to enable version check. Please add this property to maven build step

compare-version-with-baselines.skip=false
