Re: [jdt-dev] Oxygen.3 version of JDT on Maven Central?

I never found "the right time" to hand this task over to releng.
Instead I published 4.7.3 just now.
(not sure how long sync to Maven Central takes).

I already promised 4.7.3a to Martin Lippert, so 4.7.3 was a good
warm-up for that next step :)

cheers,
Stephan

In 2017 Stephan Herrmann has announced the systematic publication of some Eclipse Plug-ins on maven central (no p2, no Tycho, pom.xml consumable in a pure maven way)

I know at least one project waiting for the Oxygen.3 version of “org.eclipse.jdt:org.eclipse.jdt.core”:
https://github.com/revelc/formatter-maven-plugin/issues/260

The issue discovered in this project was reported and fixed in the JDT.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=528085

Now the next step is to consume the fixed version of the JDT when it is available on maven central.

I have seen several Bugzilla issues in the “Platform - Releng” project, discussing how to continue the “publishing on maven central” effort.

I did not find anything about publishing the Oxygen.3 on maven central.
Does someone know when it will be the case?

Can I help with something? Should I ask somewhere else?

Thank you in advance.

Jérémie
