As is written in the 2.2 Plan:  "the 2.2 release of the Eclipse Project is
written and compiled against version 1.4 of the Java 2 Platform APIs".
JDT-UI and Search have started to use JDK 1.4 specific APIs. This means you
will have to change your workspace set-up so that you build against a JDK
1.4.
