[javamail-dev] Jakarta Mail short term plans

Just a short update on what I'm planning to do with Jakarta Mail in the
next week or so...

I'm wrapping up a 1.6.5 release.  With any luck, this will be the last
1.6.x release, and the last release using the javax.mail package namespace.
(Cross your fingers.)

When that's done, I'll merge the existing 2.0.0 branch, containing the
change to the jakarta.mail package namespace, into the master branch.
At that point it's mostly a matter of integrating it with GlassFish for
the Jakarta EE 9 release.

And in case you didn't notice, I published a 2.0.0-RC1 release recently.
Try it out if you're brave!
