I have committed a preliminary attempt at Jython bindings at https://github.com/PeterC-DLS/
january-jython
It is missing a build system, tests, CI and documentation (the usual suspects). Apart from those TODOs, one further thing will be put it on the CheeseShop and to use jip (https://github.com/jiptool/
jip ) as a means of building and installing it.
