If Jakarta RPC is just a wrapper of gRPC, it is more like a library/framework. As a spec, can we define common RPC operations via HTTP/TCP protocols?

* The legacy XML-RPC is out of date, (refresh it?)
* Besides gRPC, there are several RPC projects, such as https://github.com/trpc-group/trpc, and https://dubbo.apache.org, etc. Is it possible to adapt these projects?
