Hi Alwin,
As Ivar mentioned, we've applied for the Docker-Sponsored Open Source
program or the JakartaEE Docker hub organization, but were denied with
the following reason:
"During our review of your application for Jakarta EE, we determined
that while your project meets most of the program requirements, there is
a lack of documentation in one or more of your repositories on Docker Hub.
As stated in the Qualification Criteria section of our webpage, we
encourage the authors of open-source projects to include documentation
that meets the recommended community standards. This means a detailed
project description on your Docker Hub repository pages that includes a
link to your project source code, licensing information, and a general
overview. Projects lacking this information might not receive the Docker
Sponsored Open Source badge for their images on Docker Hub."
Is there still interest to keep the docker images updated (the latest
update of the cts-base image was a year ago, other images were not
updated in more than 2 years)? If so, I would recommend adding basic
information to the Docker Hub repository pages, so we can reapply for
the Open Source program.
