Re: [jakartaee-tck-dev] TCK might be consuming too much download disk space with staged TCKs ...
|
I just clicked the " archive" button for the
https://download.eclipse.org/ee4j/jakartaee-tck/jakartaee8/nightly
contents. The Archive button text mentions "File
and folder operations make take several seconds to complete.
Refresh the page to get current status." which makes it harder
to tell if the anything is occurring. As far as I can tell, no
archiving has happened yet.

Never mind, I'm seeing the button at the bottoms
of the cdi download page for example. I had to scroll down
further.
I'm not seeing buttons for moving these
from the downloads area. When I go to a download page
that I know I am a committer on, and then login, I'm
not able to navigate back to the download page and
maintain the login. Is there a trick to see the
buttons?
Hi,
The ee4j [1]space has around 82gb of TCK
files stored on it. We should clean up the
staged TCK folders to free up space for
other files.
The tracking issue for this problem is
[2]. The gist of the issue is that all
Eclipse projects need to be proactive about
not consuming too much disk space.
I'm thinking that one of the committers
should open [3], login, mark the various
"staged-9*" folders and then click on the
"Move to archive.eclipse.org"
button. From the [2] instructions, it
sounds like the option to delete those same
"staged*" folders will appear via a
different button. Please reply all if you
can handle making this change as an Eclipse
committer.
Thanks,
Scott
