Hi Alwin
AFAIK, there is no change in jaxrpc/webservice. At least, I
did not commit anything related to them.
Is this the same JDK version used in 5.1.0 GF tests?
Yes the same JDK8.191 was used for 510 GF tests.
Hi Gurkan,
Sorry I misjudged the failures earlier. I can see test
failures in ejb(3 tests), jaxrpc & webservices(387
tests) ; most of them looks like deployment failures in
glassfish.
Failing ejb Tests :
com.sun.ts.tests.ejb.ee.webservices.allowedmethodstest.bm.Client.wsbmAllowedMethodsTest1
com.sun.ts.tests.ejb.ee.webservices.allowedmethodstest.bm.Client.wsbmAllowedMethodsTest2
com.sun.ts.tests.ejb.ee.webservices.allowedmethodstest.cm.Client.wscmAllowedMethodsTest1
The job [1] is running with only these failing suites and
has the failure logs.
Would you know of any jaxrpc/webservice related change in
this 5.1.1 RC1 bundle as all the failures are related to
this component and I can see the same passing with an
5.1.0 GF bundle in job [2] .

Thanks a lot.
Hi Gurkan,
I am rerunning the jobs as I think those might be
CI related issue and not actual failures. I could
see these tests passing by running them
separately.
I will update you once I have job runs that has
all tests passing.

Alwin

Both errors in JAXRPC and WEBSERVICES, any
idea?
Sorry ignore my previous mail.
Hi Alwin
Hope you are fine.
Regards.
Gurkan
Thank you Steve.
Dear TCK team,
Thanks for your help
Regards.
Gurkan
Forgot
to mention it is there now
https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/ee4j/glassfish/glassfish-5.1.1-SNAPSHOT-RC1.zip
I’ll
trigger Jenkins to
build a candidate to
add to Eclipse
downloads
I
don’t think we
want to
release 5.1.1
until it has
been through
the TCK. I
assume the TCK
jobs can
download a
nightly from
Eclipse
downloads?
Steve
Is
someone with
GF committer
access
(if/when
having spare
time as this
is not urgent
or having a
priority:)),
initiates a
Jenkins job to
release
5.1.0-BRANCH
to release
5.1.1?
After
we have the
release
bundle, TCK
team will kick
in to start
TCK tests

Please
let us know

Glassfish

What
do you mean by
that?
I was assuming that you want to run the TCK,
with GF 5.1.1
? The jenkins
jobs we have
in https://ci.eclipse.org/jakartaee-tck/
rely on having
glassfish
bundles
readily
available at
any
downloadable
location.
Sorry, I don't have the permissions here.
Gurkan,
We can help
edit the job
and trigger
it. Please let
us know once
the Glassfish
bundle is
available.

Alwin

Thanks
Alwin. I am
not sure I
have access
permission to
update the
job.
Also,
we need to
release
5.1.0-BRANCH.
Hi Gurkan,
It is
possible to
make use of
[1] to run the
TCK.
It would be
required to
modify this
job to accept
the correct
TCK bundle.
The TCK
bundles
released for
jakartaee8 are
at [2] .
The glassfish
bundle to be
certified will
be accepted as
parameter.

How
can I run the
TCK for 5.1
via Jenkins?
Any
pointer....
Hi,
I agree
with the 5.1.1
release. +1.
But… I
don't think
we'll have
enough time to
do this in the
next few
months as we
need to work
on the next
6.0.0 release
(not the
milestone
release).

+1
from me
I
think many of
the dev. team
are taking a
bit of a
breather,
given all the
effort to get
the M1 release
out. Please
don't give up
on us yet.

Now,
we released
the M1, is it
possible to
work on
releasing the
5.1.1 branch?
We have fixed
some console
issues and
some related
bugs.
