As mentioned at the platform call last week, our colleague Jared Anderson has agreed to fill the role of release co-coordinator along with me for the EE 12 cycle.

Thanks so much to Arjan for your deep and continuing help during the EE 11 cycle. Of course, we're not yet done, so Arjan and I need to keep our foot on the gas in EE 11.

Hello platform project,

 

Let's continue the discussion started in the platform call on 2024-07-02 and earlier about EE 12. 

 

I believe the EE 11 release suffered for leaving the release coordinator role unfilled too long. As far as I can tell, for EE 11, no-one else was willing to fill the role until I agreed to do so. I hope we can avoid this unnecessary impediment for EE 12. 

 

I'm willing to do it again, but I'm also open to other ideas. It is clear to me that this role should always be filled by a two-person team.
