Hello Spec Project Leads for Waves 1 - 4 and associated mentors.



Thanks for all your actions getting your specification to initiate release review by 2024-02-29. This email reminds you of who is your mentor for release review. Here are the actions for release review.

  • Your component TCK is passing for your ratifying compatible implementation.
  • Your final release artifacts are in the Jakarta staging Maven repository.
  • Your final spec artifacts are ready.
  • You have filed a PR to your _index.md file in https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/<spec-name>/<version-for-ee-11>/_index.md .
  • You have done any other required actions required by the process that I may have forgotten to mention at this point. Check with your mentor.

    • XML Binding*: Marcelo/Abraham
    • XML WS: Ed Bratt/Dmitry
  • Updated specifications
    • Jakarta Annotations 3.0*: Ivar
    • Jakarta _expression_ Language 6.0*: Andrew
    • Jakarta Interceptors 2.2*: Emily/Tom
    • Jakarta Lang Model 4.1 (Part of CDI): Scott Stark: Ivar
    • Jakarta Contexts and Dependency Injection 4.1*: Ivar

We'll get EE 11 Milestone 2 out as soon as possible after all the artifacts are in staging. I know many are already in there.
