Re: [jakartaee-platform-dev] concurrency-ri project

Hi,

Okay, thanks for the update Steve. I'll put it on my To Do list to take a look at this later then. Thanks!

Kind regards,
Arjan

They are different GitHub repositories yes so they don’t need to be split technically. Organisationally the Eclipse project needs to be split. It was previously discussed that the repo could potentially become part of the GlassFish project although nobody has done anything about it.

Hi,

Aren't http://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/concurrency-api and http://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/concurrency-ri already different projects in the technical sense and split?

E.g. different from https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jstl-api/tree/master/impl where that "impl" needs to move to a different project still. What is that technically speaking still needs to be split for Concurrency? Or is it only the organisational aspect?

Kind regards,

Arjan Tijms

It’s not a “mistake” as that was how it was donated. It needs splitting but nobody has done it yet.

Hi,

I was looking at the https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/concurrency-ri project, and it seems to be a part of the Jakarta Concurrency project https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.cu

Is this a mistake? As normally Eclipse implementations have their own project, separate from the API/Spec projects. Or am I missing something?

Kind regards,

Arjan Tijms
