As noted in Platform call on Tuesday Jan 25, we are meeting on Thursday Jan 27 11AM EST for an hour to discuss new (Split-out) Specification level Standalone TCKs and meeting Platform requirements.
Platform TCK call #6 (recording link) discusses how newly created TCKs that extract tests from the Jakarta EE Platform TCK should sync with the Platform TCK in different ways. Especially the determination of which Platform TCK tests to keep and update for the latest relevant SPEC API changes. Also note Platform issue j refers to the TCK call #6 and recording, along with a draft note that summarizes the action to be taken (will revise it soon but feedback is welcome/appreciated on the note)!
FYI there may be some feedback on ^ via the tweet that pretty much says the same as above.

Split-out TCKs
May be two versions of TCKs, one in the platform TCK and one split out
If platform spec requirements are met by the new, split-out, TCK then this is sufficient
TCK User Guides must specify what is needed for the platform
An issue should be created for each spec that have split out their TCK, so the platform team can decide how to address it:

Identify the platform requirements for which containers need to be tested with each SPEC API (JSON-P + JSON-B specifically).
Goal is to avoid duplication of test sources for each SPEC API TCK + Platform
