Re: [jakartaee-platform-dev] : Re: Jakarta EE 10 Plan Review tracking

Ed,
Feel to much around, Ed...  :-)

The SOAP Plan Review is not in the Approved column because you as the Spec Committee mentor have not approved the PR yet.  Supposedly, after that is done, then the Project automation should move it to the next column.  I haven't seen this automation work on a consistent basis yet, so let's try it out and see if it works...

I had not assigned all of the mentors yet as reviewers...  Feel free to do this for the one you are mentoring.  Or, I will eventually get around to it...

Adding items to the ToDo column would be good reminders.  Thanks for the tip on the other Specs!  (I will do the Platform and Web Profile cards.)

Kevin,
I agree with Jean-Louis, this is very helpful.
What distinguishes Review in Progress from Viewer Approved -- specifically, why is SOAP with Attachments not in the Reviewer Approved column? Should it (maybe I should) be moved it to Reviewer approved (The Plan Review is up for ballot now).
I would put Concurrency Utilities into the Review in Progress Column -- since we're currently going through the details (and determining if it should be a major or minor release, for example).
It appears there are also rumblings suggesting that EJB and JMS might be in the "To Do" column. Maybe it's too early to salt in a Config card. I guess, I'd add Platform and possibly Web Profile to the To Do column. The former is referenced in several proposals -- if for nothing else to set the Java SE version strategy -- and a few other things as well. OR perhaps I don't understand the criteria correctly. Let me (us) know what you are thinking (if you want others mucking around in this).

Thanks Kevin, very useful.

I think we are a bit late. We'll work on the 2 asap.

We have so many Plan Reviews being created, reviewed, and balloted that I was finding it quite confusing and hard to manage...  To that end, I created the following Github Project to help monitor all of the work that is going into these Plans. Maybe it will help more than just me... ;-)  Comments and suggestions are always welcome.  Thanks!
