I am looping in Mahmoud Anouti into this conversation. Mahmoud is the organizer of the Beirut JUG and is one of the few key folks interested in Jakarta EE from the Middle East.

Mahmoud expressed early interest in joining an effort like Eclipse Transformer. Perhaps this is the right time to engage and on-board him?
