Yes, the "missing" Java EE technologies have been contributed by Oracle to Jakarta EE. So we would have to include those that are needed.

If Jakarta EE 9 is going to require Java 11, you'll have to take a decision on how to deal with the APIs that were removed from Java SE. I'm referring to the point about the "missing" Java EE technologies that Kevin made in the original mail.

Do you expect to reach a quick consensus on how to deal with those APIs?
