| [jakarta.ee-wg] Speak at OCX27: enterprise Java talks wanted |
Dear Jakarta EE community,
The Call for Proposals for Open Community Experience 2027 (OCX27) is now open. OCX27 takes place 13 to 15 April 2027 in Brussels, organised by the Eclipse Foundation.
Java has a place across the Modern software development track, from developer foundations to enterprise-grade delivery. The program committee is looking for sessions such as:
- Java, Jakarta EE and JVM advancements
- Enterprise Java and Jakarta EE in large, long-lived systems, and application modernisation
- Microservices, containers and cloud native architecture
- Agentic software engineering and AI in Java applications
If you have moved a large application to a new Jakarta EE release, built AI features into a Java service, or tuned a runtime until it behaved, the committee wants that talk.
The committee wants talks grounded in real experience: a working implementation, a lesson learned the hard way, or practical knowledge other teams can use. First-time speakers are welcome.
Early bird deadline: 9 November 2026.
