The Jakarta EE Working Group Elections for Participant Member Representatives on the Steering Committee and Specification Committee closed on September 30th, and we are pleased to announce the following elected representatives for 2025-2026:
Steering Committee Representative:
Ondro Mihaly (Omnifish OU)
Specification Committee Representative:
Arjan Tijms (Omnifish OU)
As a reminder, all Enterprise Members Representatives, Jadon Ortlepp (Participant Member Rep for Marketing & Brand Committee), Werner Keil (Committer Representative Specification Committee) and Otavio Santana (Committer Representative Marketing & Brand Committee) are acclaimed to the roles.
Since no nominations were received, the Committer Representative seat on the Steering Committee will remain vacant.
Elected representatives, like every other member of the committee, have the responsibility and obligation of directly defining and implementing the working group’s charter. Working group committees require quorum and regularly vote on matters pertaining to the working group. As a result, elected representatives are required to be in regular attendance at meetings.
