Hi all,As a stepping-down representative of the Participating Members in the Steering Committee, I would like to nominate Arjan Tijms (Specification Committee) and David Matějček (Steering Committee) from Omnifish for the Participating Members’ seats.
If they even need my recommendation. Their work speaks louder than a thousand words.
When I first ran in the elections, David was actually my countercandidate. I don’t really know why I was chosen back then, because over the years, I have seen firsthand how much effort both of these gentlemen have put into getting Jakarta EE to where it is today.
I strongly believe they will be excellent representatives of the group I have had the honour of representing for the past few years.
Guys, I hope you will accept the nomination.

Hello All,
We are writing to inform you that the nomination period for the Jakarta EE Working Group election closes on Friday, September 12th, 2025.
Currently, we are holding elections for the following seats in all three committees i.e. Steering Committee, Specification Committee, and Marketing & Brand Committee.
Two seats allocated for Enterprise Members
One seat allocated for Participant Members
One seat allocated for Committer Members
Self nominations are welcome.
