Hello members of the Jakarta EE Working Group -

On behalf of the Jakarta EE Steering Committee, I’d like to invite you to attend and participate in an Open Jakarta EE Working Group meeting hosted by the Steering Committee.

 

The meeting will take place on June 17th at 12:30 pm EDT and the invitation is published on the Steering Committee Calendar.     Here is the direct ZOOM link as well.

 

We plan to provide a short update on the activities of the Working Group for your input and feedback.   We want to hear about your expectations of the Working Group,  what we should do to better meet your expectations, and what projects or activities you would like the Working Group to focus on.   We especially want to hear from members that are not currently involved in Jakarta EE Committees or governance work.   

 

Here are some topics we will cover during the call: 

  • Welcome / Introduction
  • Jakarta EE 11 Delivery update
  • Jakarta EE 12 Planning
  • Marketing Update 
  • Open discussion:
    • Do you feel informed about the activities of the Working Group?
    • Feedback on Working Group progress.   Are we meeting Your expectations?   What would you like to see more of?
    • There have been ongoing discussions about the MicroProfile Working Group joining the Jakarta EE Working Group.  Do you have input on this concept?

We will announce a more detailed agenda and the speakers shortly.
