Thanks Zahra for sharing the election results. 

By way of this email I would like to give a big thanks to Scott Stark for everything he's done over the past year in his service to the Jakarta EE Specification Committee as the Enterprise member representative from Red Hat. Scott's hard work and depth of knowledge of enterprise Java is something all of Jakarta EE has benefited from. 

Congratulations to Zhai Luchao from Cvicse on his re-appointment and we look forward to welcoming Jun Qian from Primeton to the committee to share in the responsibilities the committee takes on on behalf of the working group.

As a reminder "Please note outgoing representatives remain in office until the newly-elected representatives take office.  Tanja Obradovic will be in touch regarding those specific dates where required."

The Jakarta EE Working Group Elections for Enterprise Member Representatives on all three committees closed on Tuesday, October 10th 2023 , and we are pleased to announce the following elected representatives for 2023-2024:

Steering Committee Representatives:

As a reminder, Marcin Kruglik (Steering Committee), and Marcelo Ancelmo (Specification Committee) were acclaimed to the roles of Participant Member Representatives, owing to single nomination per committee. Participant Member Rep seat for the Marketing & Brand Committee remains vacant. 

Additionally, Wener Keil (Specification Committee) and Otavio Santana (Marketing & Brand Committee) were acclaimed to the roles of Committer Member Representatives, owing to single nomination per committee. Committer Member Rep seat for the Steering Committee remains vacant. Please note outgoing representatives remain in office until the newly-elected representatives take office.  Tanja Obradovic will be in touch regarding those specific dates where required.
