The primary use of the Triage role is to allow Kevin, Ed, and I who are trying to work on the EEx release boards to assign issues, and labels to issues without being a committer on the project. I think it is somewhat automatic at this point as one just needs to request access via the ee4j.xxx project page(e.g., ee4j.jakartaee-tck).

I have followed the instructions from https://github.com/microprofile/microprofile-wg/wiki/Contributors-GitHub-%E2%80%9CTriage%E2%80%9D-access on projects that I'm not a committer on and it gets approved by the webmaster. Not sure what the criteria for that is however.

I have asked for the Triage role on the TCK project. It had been assigned to an incorrect version of my login so I just updated the request now. Ivar also has a the Triage role in the TCK project. 

Go to:
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.jakartaee-tck/edit

And open the  Source Code and Issues/Bugzilla section, and under the Contributors area are the Triage users.

This morning, with the help of wonderful Ed, 15 MicroProfilers were granted MP github Triage access. Ed, thank you for being the contributor Pilot testing the feature and helping document the things learned. 🤗 

Call2Action for MP Committers:
To all MP committers, who are working with future MP Committers, today MicroProfile most active Contributors, you could choose to add him/her to the MP repo as well.
