Werner,
and next year you can meet us in person again in JavaLand. I assume Jan will confirm in a minute (he's next on my ring back list on the smartphone) that we will do another onboard workshop there for new Jakata contributors, just as we did in 2019 with Gael. :-)

Hi,
Welcome, just met some of you (at least as Avatars ;-) in JavaLand.
Hopefully also going to see some of the new members in the Spec Committee or similar bodies where the Participant reps at the Moment haven’t found a lot of time to participate.
Werner
Hey, Jan and iJUG! Always great to have true believers in the ecosystem!
Warmest welcomes and very excited to see you participating :)
Hi,
I am proud to announce that the Association of the German Java User Groups e.V (iJUG, https://www.ijug.eu/en/home/) has joined the Jakarta EE Working Group as a Participant Member!
With the transition of membership to the Eclipse Foundation AISBL, iJUG also joined the Eclipse MicroProfile and Eclipse Adoptium Working Groups to signalise the commitment of our community to these three core assets in the Java ecosystem.
Looking forward to help making Jakarta EE as successful as Java for distributed systems has been in the past!
Best Regards,
Jan Westerkamp
iJUG delegate for Eclipse Foundation membership
