The sooner the better. I believe this is an important signal to many folks waiting to see how things will work out with the transition and what to do going forward with their Java EE applications. Also, please let me or Ryan (Cuprak) know when you think you could help on-board community newcomers through some of these tasks. We did talk to a small number of JUG leaders at Oracle Code One that say they are willing to help recruit contributors. These are serious, responsible folks that know what is at stake and what the risks ahead are so they are definitely not oblivious. I will try to do the same at the Philly JUG this week. Between Ryan and I, we will try to make sure you are not burdened with trivial mechanics and people that are really not going to help that much. Just something to keep in mind that might make a big difference in the end.
