Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] Backward Compatibilty

The problem is that it is the old document we decided not to update further. I added an obsolete line at the start pointing to the new document Andrew had drafted: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d49zY05ZBqUp3Jqe_bPpYf9HU8GBbvXF/edit

Hi All,

I attempted to add a high-level section to the start of the draft document on backwards incompatibility.  Can you review and provide some guidance on if this is in line with what our goals are?

Hi,

The Platform Project has received a request for guidance regarding backward compatibility for the upcoming plan reviews for Jakarta EE 11.

Since the due date for plan reviews (May 30) is fast approaching, it is fairly urgent to provide some guidance to the projects regarding the direction we are headed with this.
