Hi,
For Jakarta EE 10, there is a proposal to merge the Jakarta Web Services Metadata Specification with the Jakarta XML Web Services Specification. The Metadata Specification would cease to exist as a standalone Specification. I reviewed the EFSP and didn't find anything related to a "retirement process". I have created the following Issue for the EFSP. If you have thoughts on this topic, please reply here or directly to the Issue. Thanks!
