I'd recommend the bug be updated to reflect what we need.

I see now that Dmitry isn't listed.
We
should definitely get him added to both the page and Jenkins.
Also
not sure if LJC has an alternative we should add.
Yeah, I can vouch that the update
happened
and I successfully promoted the DI 2.0 TCK. Also, I believe that
only the
primary reps. are granted permission, not the alternates. I
believe the
list is in the issue -- I'm open to discussion if others feel
this should
be more broadly applied -- but please note, it's currently a
manual operation
to enable/change these permission settings. -- Ed On 9/1/2020 6:22 AM, Jean-Louis

Ed,
I'd be happy run this script for you while we're sorting this
out...
As far as instructions for establishing proper credentials... I
think this
is an outstanding item that needs to be addressed. I ran into a
few
of the Spec Committee mentors that were not Committers on the
Specifications
repo. From talking with Tanja, it sounds like the EF has a
running
checklist for the processes that need to be done with changing
members
to the Committees (since EF has the ability to assign
permissions). We
will need to add this jenkins job as well.

I can't see meaningful activity on the issue Ivar filed. Do we
need to
escalate? I suspect that this was put together in a non-standard
way since
there isn't a "project" for the Specification Committee and most
of the CI resources are allocated/provisioned around Eclipse
projects.
An alternative might be that Kevin and David (I don't know if
others are
also provisioned) can run this final promotion step.

BTW is there an instruction sheet someplace?

So basically that list means nothing. More than likely Ed, Ivar
and
some others are not actually added to the security realm.

I can definitely log in. Perhaps I don't understand how to run

Shouldn't there be a "build with parameters" button? If not,
how do I kick this job off? I suspect I am registered as a user,
but that
I don't have sufficient permissions to kick off builds. I can
definitely
see things when I am logged in, that I cannot when I am not
logged in,
I just don't see a clear way to kick off a build. When you
browse to that
page, do you see a "build with parameters" button?

Just logged in and checked. Here's what I see for permissions.
You're
definitely there. It does look like we need to adjust the
people,
however.

Hi,
The finalization process requires the mentor to use the CI job
to promote
the TCK from it's staged location, into the final normative
location. When
I browse to the CI
job and log in,
I do not see
a "Build with Parameters" button/link.
Are there permissions that I (and possibly others) need, to
finalize the
TCK? Where might I check to see who has these permissions and
determine
if others need to be added to this permission list as well? (Or,
is there
another way this is supposed to happen?)
Thanks,
-- Ed
