Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] Possible issue with Servlet spec PR

4.0.2 is the Java EE 8 api artifact that does not have the updated javadocs, so it really can’t be used for the Jakarta EE 8 release. I would say we do need to fail the ballot and get servlet PR updated with a valid 4.0.3 release.

We definitely have to discuss this tomorrow if it is not agreed on in this thread.
