Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] Specifications website

The events that would require the web site to be updated are:
  • Approval of a specification version
  • Addition of a Compatible Implementation

Anything else?

If that's all there is, updating manually after those events, and updating weekly just in case, seems like enough.

The Webdev team has committed the fix to incorporate the /specifications repository contents into jakarta.ee.

We still have to set up the bits that make browsing work; I'm working with Chris to sort this out.

In the meantime, the full URLs do work, e.g.,


Changes are propagated to the live site when it is rebuilt. We can make a request to rebuild by opening an Issue against the website repository. Or, perhaps I can just ask Chris to rebuild it weekly. What do you think?
