Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] Repo for boilerplate spec

Steve Millidge (Payara) wrote on 7/3/19 6:30 AM:

OK I did some work on creating a boilerplate spec for the concurrency-api project following Bill’s notes. In general they work however I hit the barrier of which repo to put the document into.

Do I add the spec to the api repo?

Create a new repo (which I don’t have permission to do)?

Something else?

The spec committee recommends adding it to the API repo, but it's up to you.

Also the boiler plate spec is very minimal. Does anyone know a way to derive something a little more substantive from the Javadoc?

Nope.  :-)

We're still hoping that more of the original spec documents will be made available to the projects, after Jakarta EE 8, so I wouldn't put any effort into rewriting the spec at this point.
