Hello,
There seems no tab for Jakarta EE 9 details or Features yet. And all tabs are read-only, is that intended so not even comments, or do we have to request Access again here (Google account works better ;-) ?
I created a GitHub ticket with those feature candidates discussed so far: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jakartaee-platform/issues/7
Maybe some of them will Change but it’s a starting Point. And those that are done or ruled out can be checked-off the list (it’s the closest to Sub-tasks in GitHub)
Regards,
Werner
Hello all,
In preparation for this week's Steering and Specification Committee's calls, I would like to ask you to review the Jakarta EE Specification work tab of the spreadsheet . I have proposed dates for some of the line items and would like to get your feedback on it.
I am also assuming that we all have an understanding on our plan for the release, at least for the specification work. While the Specification documents are not contributed yet, we can start working on the existing EE4J projects. Below is what we discussed.
Plan per earlier discussions:
- convert existing EE4J eclipse projects into EE4J eclipse specification projects (as appropriate; e.g. not valid for TCK related project)
- change the projects name
- update project scope / description
I would also like to seek Specification Committee approval to start executing the plan, this week.
